 Itinerary:
Day 01
Welcome on arrival at the airport and move on
to Kumarakom and there check into the hotel.
Day 02
Kumarakom states as the Queen of Vembanada most
elegant resort destination.A little and small village
situated on the border or at the end of Vembanad
Lake was hardly having any familiarity in recognisation
till our Henry Baker bought this land from erstwhile
i.e. upto that time king of Travancore to plan and
made beautiful home by own efforts. Kumarakom today
contains variety of decent and modern resorts and
heritage-homes-cum-hoyels spread over and established
at island bank.Kumarakom bird sanctuary is said
to be a must see and visit containing variety of
fabulous small and compact streams and waterways.The
most beautiful and eye-catching scenes of Vembanad
Lake surrounded by Mangrove forests and peddy fields
is one of best site for bird viewing inside the
sanctuary. A large population and in big quantum
of feathered species a particular kind or class
of its own with a most beautiful climatical atmosphere
makes a eye-catching and best picnic spot.As Kumarakom
is very popular backwater destination in Kerala
and a fine adventurous houseboat cruise activity
is a must to do for tourists and visitors. It is
so enjoyable to cruise boating on splendid Vembanad
Lake and likewise also wonderful to view alongwith
pleasing atmosphere of bird watching in the park.Majestically
it is must to take photos of wildlife at Pathiramanal
which is so called a tiny island on the lake.If
you go a little further of Kumarakom,tourists can
visit the backwater town of Kattayam a location
packed with rubber plantations and splendid old
churchs.
Day 03
To continue in your wonder tour proceed further
to Thekkady and check into the hotel.Thekkady is
holding a notable credit and worthing to be rated
as heaven for natural spices such as black pepper,
cardamom,cinnamon and clove. The best thing to be
said for Thekkady is to boating on the lake and
the Mullai Periyar Dam.Generally,Boating will take
2 hours approximately and addition to this you can
also rarely have view of wild animals and worth
to notice such nice scenics.Not to forget to take
photos.It is quite helpful to keep digital camera
with digital zoom for having closer shots of animals.Thekkady
is also rated as best for exploring the possibilities
for adventure tourism.Many programmes are being
implemented time to time by the Forest Department
for promotion includes Periyar Tiger Trail,Nature
Walk,Bamboo Rafting etc.There are private organizations
and government agencies e.g. KTDC promoting adventure
tourism in Thekkady.These departments are also very
keen in promoting plantation tourism so that the
tourists can learn and implement the cultivation
of various spices of Kerala.

Departure from Cochin Airport as unforgettable
and happy tour.
