Jules Bar is a series affair with Teak paneling, wooden floors, a well stocked bar, connoisseur’s wine cellar, and choice of tobacco.  Meetings & Events

Le Méridien’s signature chic style is vastly evident in our world-class convention centre, ideally located between the airport and the business districts, amongst natural habitat.

The convention centre has 12 halls with 52,000 square feet of air-conditioned space and theatre-style seating capacities ranging from 50 to 2,500. The hotel, which is spread across 25 acres, offers 95,000 square feet of lawn space adjoining the backwaters, which can accommodate up to 7,000 persons, ideal for open-air gala events.

Oman Hall

All halls are equipped with the latest audiovisual facilities and have an unmatched ambience. The halls in the convention centre are variable in dimension and location, offering the possibility of multiple functions. The halls can be tailored to specifications for corporate conferences, exhibitions with stalls, product launches, dealer meets, weddings, concert performances, formal board meetings, and press conferences.

Our smallest hall (Cheraman Hall) has a capacity of 20 guests and the largest (Oman Hall) seats 2,500. Oman Hall also boasts the single largest pillar less hall in South India and a ceiling height of 15 meters. Nayanar Hall can be divided into three individual halls if required. The four Manappuram Halls are exact replicas of each other and ideal for break-away sessions.

Wi-Fi Internet access is available across all 25 acres, ensuring easy access to the online world. Our one-stop approach ensures perfection as a single conference coordinator ensures smooth operations of all aspects of the conference.

Raja Ravi Verma Hall

State-of-the-art business centres provide efficient service for the discerning business traveller, including a fully-equipped business centre with three breakaway cubicles. Common services include computers, lamination, spiral binding, fax machine, Xerox, secretarial services, as well as food and beverage service.

Elephants are the specialty and love of Kerala and no conference is complete without our “Traditional Kerala Welcome.” Elephants accompanied by panchavadiyam musicians (famous for their temple ceremonies) pay homage to the conference delegates as they enter the hotel. The Arti-Tikka and flower garlanding ceremony that follows is another much honoured tradition.

Evenings are perfectly orchestrated gala events based on pre-decided themes available open-air and indoors. Our open-air Amphi Theatre overlooking the backwaters is a favoured evening for gala dinners with a fusion of culture and entertainment. Popular themes include Boat Parties, Kerala Night, Goan Night, Car Park, Houseboat, Pirates, North Indian, Oriental, Rajasthani, and Frontier. The favoured Kerala Night offers an opportunity to participate in the Kerala snake boat races on the backwaters followed by a panoramic display of Koodiyattam, Katha Kali, Mohiniyattam and Kalaripayattu (Kerala dance forms), and a Sadhya meal (Kerala festival meal).

Cheraman Hall

A choice of religious ceremonies, traditional food, and theme décors are available for wedding celebrations. Our special Honeymoon Suite, with its romantic ambience and Jacuzzi for two overlooking the backwaters, is ideal for the couple’s stay.
